Special Weather Statement issued August 21 at 1:17PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 116 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm nearElgin, or 14 miles west of Sierra Vista, moving southeast at 15 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…Sierra Vista, Hereford, Elgin, Parker Canyon Lake, Fort Huachuca,Canelo, Ramsey Canyon Preserve and Coronado National Memorial.
