At 1115 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm nearVail, or 9 miles south of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, moving westat 5 mph.
Half inch hail, very heavy rainfall, and winds in excess of 40 mphwill be possible with this storm.
