Shooting at Mississippi university leaves 1 wounded

COLUMBUS, Miss. (AP) — A shooting at a Mississippi university wounded one person and prompted a two-hour campus lockdown.
Mississippi University for Women spokeswoman Anika Perkins says the shooting happened about 1 p.m. Friday outside a hall on the Columbus-based campus.
She says a man was taken to a hospital. The nature of his injuries was unclear.
