Sheriff Napier asks Pima County to reconsider Operation Stone Garden

TUCSON – Pima County Sheriff Mark Napier is now asking the Board of Supervisors to reconsider and approve the original border security grants, known as Operation Stonegarden.
Federal and state officials denied awarding the grant after
a request to use part of the $1.8 million to help fund Casa Alitas, a migrant
shelter.
