Serious pedestrian collision shuts down south side intersection

TUCSON (KVOA) - Police are responding to a serious pedestrian collision on the south side Tuesday afternoon.
According to Ofc. Ray Smith with Tucson Police Department, the incident happened at Sixth Avenue and Forty-four Street.Northbound traffic at the intersection is shut down.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
