Salpointe Catholic’s Bijan Robinson wins Ed Doherty Award

Salpointe star running back Bijan Robinson won the Ed Doherty Award for best high school football player in Arizona.
The Award is given by the Grand Canyon State Gridiron Club. Robinson ran for more than 2,000 yards in his junior season, after running for more than 2,000 yards in his sophomore season.
Robinson beat out four Phoenix-area seniors to win the award.
