Rural Metro extricates driver from south side crash scene

TUCSON – A person was transported to the hospital after they were trapped in a crash near Palo Verde Road and Interstate 10 Friday morning.
According to Rural Metro Fire Department, a driver required extricating after they were stuck in their vehicle during a crash. The firefighters used hydraulic cutters and spreaders in the incident.
The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
