Romanian government to face no-confidence vote on Saturday

BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) — Romania’s Parliament says a no-confidence vote on the government of Prime Minster Viorica Dancila is set for Saturday.
The decision was criticized by opposition parties, which saw Wednesday’s unusual weekend scheduling decision as intended to keep the motion from passing.
Dancila has been leading a minority government since late August, when the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats quit a governing coalition with her Social Democrats.
