Roadrunners win on opening night

The Tucson Roadrunners beat the San Diego Gulls 6-4 on opening night at Tucson Arena. The Roadrunners trailed 2-0 early, but starting with a Jens Looke goal, put on an explosive display.
The Roadrunners won the Western Conference in 2017-18. This is the team’s third season of AHL play as the Arizona Coyotes’ affiliate.
