Rangers put Guzman on IL with hamstring strain, Wisdom up

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Texas Rangers have placed first baseman Ronald Guzman on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.
Patrick Wisdom was recalled from Triple-A Nashville and was expected to split time at the position with Logan Forsythe, who will start against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.
Guzman left the Rangers’ 5-1 loss to the Angels on Saturday after experiencing tightness in his right hamstring while running out a double in the third inning.
