Police officer rescues stranded kitten

Kansas City, MO – A Missouri police officer stepped in the save the life of a soon-to-be family member.
Officer Jason Smith rescued a kitten stuck on a barrier in the middle of a busy street last month.
The rescue was captured on the officer’s body camera.
Officer Smith then took the kitten to be checked out by a veterinarian.
Once the animal was given the all clear, she joined the Smith family and was named Bella.
