Pima County Sheriff’s deputy involved in crash

TUCSON – Pima County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of a crash involving a deputy on the southwest side.
Investigators tell News 4 Tucson it appears the deputy’s injuries are not life-threatening.
PCSD has closed Valencia Road westbound near Mission Road.
Units from the Tohono O’odham Police Department are also at the scene, as the crash is within their jurisdiction.
Authorities are asking you to avoid the area for the next several hours.
