Pima County plans to develop economic development plan for South Tucson

SOUTH TUCSON – It all started with a property owner in South Tucson and a tax that was not approved by voters.
“The tax generated $1.8 million in revenue to the city and those revenues were used to help sustain the city services,” said South Tucson City Manager John Vidaurri.
The suit filed by the property owner was asking south Tucson for $1.8 million.
