Pima County officials respond to Hepatitis A outbreak

TUCSON – Health officials say there is a Hepatitis A outbreak in Pima County.
Since November, there have been 34 reported cases of Hepatitis A – 27 of those cases have led to hospitalizations, officials say.
Pima County says that even though the Hepatitis A vaccine is routinely given to children, most adults have not been vaccinated. The vaccine is especially recommended for:People who are experiencing homelessness
