Pedestrian struck, killed on west side identified

TUCSON – The individual that was struck and killed by a vehicle on the west side Thursday was identified by Tucson Police Department, Friday afternoon.
According to TPD, 83-year-old Gerald Zushin was struck by a gray Nissan Altima when he was crossing First Avenue near Prince Road. According to TPD, Zushin allegedly was crossing mid-block and was not seen by the driver when he was struck.
Zushin was pronounced dead at the scene.
