Pedestrian collision leaves man with life-threatening injuries

Tucson Police Dept. says a pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Saturday evening.Authorities say the adult male was not in a crosswalk when he was hit at Tanque Verde and Sabino.The driver of the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene.Westbound traffic will be closed on Tanque Verde from Sabino Canyon to Indian Ridge.The closure is expected to last for the next few hours while police investigate.
