PCSD volunteers perform vacation checks at homes

Volunteers with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department offer a service to check on your home while you are away.
Teams of trained, auxiliary volunteers will check your home for any signs of tampering or attempted entry if you request a vacation check, according to PCSD. They will then call in a deputy if they find any abnormalities.
Vacation checks are free for anyone in unincorporated Pima County. To request a vacation check, call the substation nearest you.
