PCSD to hold Badges and Backpacks event

TUCSON –  The Pima County Sheriff’s Department will be holding a “Badges and Backpacks” back to school event next weekend.
It’ll happen at the Tucson Convention Center on Saturday July 13, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Free backpacks will be given to children enrolled in K-12.
There will also be a health fair where children can receive free health screenings.
