PCSD: Missing inmate fled to Mexico, died

TUCSON – The inmate reported missing from Pima County Jail late December has died, according to Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
Back on Dec. 28, 30-year-old Luis Moreno left through the back dock outside of the kitchen of the Pima County Adult Detention Complex. Law enforcement agencies were searching for Moreno in the area near 29th Street and Silverlake Road.
