Owner of Tucson elder care facility awaits sentencing

TUCSON –A Tucson woman and adult care facility owner was sentenced to three years of probation for being involved in a vulnerable elder abuse case last summer.
Cynthia Hermann was arrested after five elderly residents had to be transported to the hospital on July 26 for heat-related issues, police say.
Hermann is prohibited from operating a health facility while on probation.
