Organization clearing up misconceptions about ballot proposal

TUCSON- The People’s Defense Initiative is trying to clear up misconceptions about their proposal.
The organization held a town hall-style meeting on Tuesday, February 19th regarding their efforts to have Tucson voters get new immigration legislation on the next ballot.
They said their initiative pushes the boundaries of Senate Bill 1070 without crossing the line.
