One injured in shooting on Tucson’s east side

TUCSON (KVOA) - A man was transported to a hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a shooting Thursday on Tucson's east side.
Officers responded to the 6700 block of East Golf Links Road early Thursday morning.
Police say "suspect fled the scene but is known by the victim so this should be an isolated event and not a further threat to the public".
Details are limited at this time.
