Nuts helping with weight control
It’s a weight control conundrum!Nuts have plenty of fat and calories, but eating them may actually help you keep off the extra pounds.
A Harvard study found eating a handful of nuts every day was associated with less weight gain over a 4 year period. The key was substituting nuts for less healthy snacks, like french fries, chips, or any dessert.
About an ounce of nuts, or 2 tablespoons of nut butter qualifies as a daily serving.
