Nurses at St. Mary’s, St. Joseph’s plan Friday strike

TUCSON – Registered nurses at St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s hospitals plan to hold a strike on Friday.
The strike is in an effort to push management to invest in their nursing staff.
The National Nurses Organizing Committee says investing in nurses will improve recruitment, retention of experienced registered nurses and ensure patients receive optimal care.
