Notre Dame ends skid with 88-80 victory over Boilermakers

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — John Mooney scored 21 points and D.J. Harvey added 19 to lead Notre Dame past Purdue 88-80 Saturday in the Crossroads Classic.
The Fighting Irish (7-3) ended a two-game losing streak.
Purdue (6-5, 1-1 Big Ten) has lost two straight, four of five and had a nine-game winning streak against in-state schools, which dated to February 2016, end. Carsen Edwards paced the Boilermakers with 27 points. Ryan Cline added 15.
Notre Dame’s victory may have come at a high price,
