Nogales truck driver charged with human smuggling

TUCSON – A Nogales man is facing human smuggling charges, after U.S. Border Patrol agents found a group of Mexican nationals hidden in his semi.
According to Customs and Border Protection, the driver was stopped at the Interstate 19 immigration checkpoint near Amado last Wednesday night, when a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle.
Authorities say they found 31 undocumented migrants ages 15 to 40-years-old inside the cargo trailer.
