It’s National Pumpkin Day!
All around the country pumpkins are used in foods, sweets and of course, “pumpkin spiced” everything. They’re also commonly used as jack-o-lanterns during Halloween times.
The U.S. produces 1 1/2 billion ponds of pumpkins, with Illinois making the most.
