Multi-vehicle crash on northeast Chinese highway kills 18

BEIJING (AP) — Police say a crash on a highway in China’s northeast has killed 18 people. Police in Fuyu in Jilin province said a minivan rear-ended a tractor and then struck a car traveling the opposite direction. The announcement said eight people died at the scene and 10 others at hospitals.
