Maricopa County assessor indicted after multi-state investigation

PHOENIX – Maricopa County Assessor Paul D. Petersen was indicted Tuesday following a multi-state investigation into an adoption fraud scheme.
According to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Attorney General Mark Brnoich, Arizona Department of Public Safety Colonel Frank Milstead, Homeland Security Investigations Phoenix Special Agent Scott Brown and Utah Attorney General’s Office will hold a press conference
