Man shot, killed by TPD after standoff on east side

TUCSON – A man armed with a gun was shot and killed by Tucson Police Department Friday morning on the east side.
According to TPD, the department received multiple reports of an adult man in his mid-50s allegedly waving a gun and yelling in the middle of the roadway at the 6700 block of Eastland Street near Wilmot Road at around 9 a.m. Friday.
