Man gets probation for making online Tempe school threat

PHOENIX (AP) — A man accused of posting an online message about the possibility of a school shooting in Tempe has been sentenced to two years’ probation.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 19-year-old Christopher Rivera was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to one felony count of interfering with or disruption of an educational institution.
They say Rivera posted a photo of a handgun on social media on Aug. 9, 2017 with the caption, “Don’t come to school tomorrow.&rdqu
