Man dies after an officer-involved shooting in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in west Phoenix. Police responded to a home around 1 p.m. Saturday after a caller said a man who tried to kill him a week ago had returned with a knife and was threatening him again. Two officers arrived and reportedly saw the suspect sitting in a parked car in a driveway. Police say when the officers asked the man to get out of the car, he rolled up the window and showed a gun.  Officers demanded the man
