Man arrested near Yuma for smuggling eight people through US border

YUMA, Arizona (KVOA) - A man was arrested near Yuma on Thursday after he allegedly smuggled eight people through the U.S.-Mexico border.According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, Border Patrol agents assisted Arizona Department of Public Safety with a traffic stop near the Ligurta Rest Area on Interstate 8 at around 5 p.m. Thursday.After conducting as inspection of the semi-truck involved, the agents discovered seven Mexican nationals and a Honduran national without proper docum
