Look up! Orionid meteor shower to peak this weekend

TUCSON – Skywatchers are in for a treat this weekend. The Orionid meteor shower is expected to peak and there will also be a nearly full Moon.
The shower takes place every October as Earth passes through a debris trail from Halley’s Comet and according to Space.com,  “the showers will be visible from anywhere on Earth and can be seen anywhere across the sky.”
There are expected to be a rate of 20-25 meteors an hour.
Officials say the peak time is about 2 a.m. on Oct.
