Local students get green and plant 45 native trees

TUCSON –Local students are bringing life to their campus.
As part of a three-year grant from Arizona Game and Fish Department and Tucson Audubon Society, students at Sky Islands Public High School started planting 45 trees native to the area on Thursday.
The 45 native species trees include:Desert willow
Catclaw
Acacia,
Ironwood Tree
Velvet Mesquite
