Local firefighters to be recognized for life saving efforts

TUCSON – Firefighters from two local stations will be honored and recognized Tuesday morning for their commitment to saving lives during two different incidents.
Golder Ranch Engineer Chris Dawkins will be recognized for performing the Heimlich maneuver on his captain, who was choking at the station while eating breakfast.
Six of Northwest Fire District’s crew members will also be recognized for saving a patient who was having a heart attack.
