Local businesses heighten security after string of break-ins

TUCSON – Brian Drake, the owner of Biscuits Country Cafe told News 4 Tucson $400 of petty cash and food was stolen during a break-in over the weekend. A police investigation started Sunday morning and, as a result, the restaurant had to close, costing Drake thousands of dollars in business.
“I figured my employees you know that’s a day’s pay, the servers lose a lot of money on what they make so yea it’s tough,” said Drake.
