Johnson leads Georgetown in 43-3 win over Marist

WASHINGTON (AP) — Gunther Johnson ran for two touchdowns and threw for one, Joshua Thomas caught a touchdown pass and scored on a run and Georgetown cashed in on turnovers to beat Marist 43-3 in its home opener on Saturday.
Herman Moultrie III gained 103 yards on 20 carries as the Hoyas amassed 424 total yards to Marist’s 244. The Hoyas converted two-of-four turnovers — a fumble and an interception — into scores.
