Jets’ DL Shepherd suspended 6 games by NFL for PED violation

NEW YORK (AP) — New York Jets defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd has been suspended six games by the NFL for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancers.
The NFL announced the suspension Tuesday. Shepherd will be eligible to return to the Jets’ active roster on Oct. 28, following New York’s game at Jacksonville.
