Jed Lowrie, New York Mets finalize $20M, 2-year contract
NEW YORK (AP) — Free agent infielder Jed Lowrie and the New York Mets have finalized a $20 million, two-year contract.
A switch-hitter who turns 35 in April, Lowrie and is coming off his first All-Star season.
“We are really fortunate and thrilled that Jed bought what we were selling,” new Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen said Wednesday.
