Instagram founders stepping down

Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger are stepping away from Instagram.The duo founded the smartphone photo app back in 2010. They sold it to facebook for $1 billion dollars two years later. Although they sold their creation, they were able to keep working for the company. Instagram now has a billion users.
Systrom says they want to take a step back and focus on creating something new. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement, “Looking forward to seeing what they build next.”
