Inmates battling addiction get an unlikely ally: a puppy

BOSCAWEN, N.H. (AP) — Inmates at a New Hampshire jail are getting the chance to raise several puppies that will go to military veterans or first responders struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder and other challenges.
