India deports second group of Rohingya Muslims to Myanmar

GAUHATI, India (AP) — India has deported a second group of Rohingya Muslims to Myanmar since the government in 2017 ordered the expulsion of members of the Myanmar minority group and others who entered the country illegally.
Police officer Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta says the five members of a family — three men and two women — were handed over to Myanmar authorities on Thursday at a border crossing at Moreh in Manipur state.
