Hospital: Niger elementary school fire kills 20 children

NIAMEY, Niger (AP) — Hospital officials say a fire at an elementary school in Niger’s capital has killed 20 children. It was not immediately known what started the fire on Tuesday afternoon but authorities said that high winds in the area allowed the blaze to spread rapidly.
