Home sales jump nearly $100 million

TUCSON – New statistics from the Tucson Association of Realtors show the housing market got a big bump in March.
Total sales volume rose nearly 38 percent to $$369,814,660, while the average sale price rose 0.66 percent to $261,168. The average listing price rose 0.59 percent to $265,446 .
The total number of new listings showed a moderate increase, going up by nearly 11 percent.
