Hirscher trails 5th in World Cup slalom, Noel leads 1st run

WENGEN, Switzerland (AP) — Marcel Hirscher trailed in a rare fifth place as junior world champion Clement Noel led the first run of a World Cup slalom Sunday.
Noel was 0.42 seconds faster than Manuel Feller, and 0.72 clear of third-place Henrik Kristoffersen.
Frenchman Noel got his first World Cup podium place last Sunday at nearby Adelboden, when runner-up to Hirscher’s fourth win in five traditional slaloms this season.
