Hearing booms? Controlled detonations held at DM

TUCSON - Hearing explosions? Don't worry, the world is not ending. Davis-Monthan Airforce Base is conducting controlled detonations on Tuesday morning.According to DM officials, 335th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal airmen are scheduled to conduct these controlled detonations from 9 to 11 a.m. at the base on Wilmot Road near Irvington Road.They said passersby should expect to hear loud sounds during this timeframe.
