Groundbreaking held for new Sahuarita medical facility

TUCSON – A new “neighborhood hospital” is coming to Sahuarita – Northwest Healthcare officially broke ground on the new, 18-bed facility Tuesday.
According to officials, Northwest Healthcare will open a third hospital near Interstate 19 and Sahuarita Road in 2020. This 77,000-square-foot hospital, dubbed Sahuarita Medical Center, will feature physician offices and outpatient services aimed to help make healthcare more convenient for area residents.
