GOP state lawmaker proposes bill to limit forms of ID at polls

TUCSON - As we head into a presidential election year, Rep. Kelly Townsend, a Republican from Mesa, Ariz. is proposing a bill that would strip voters of the right to use bank statements, utility bills and other non-photo IDs at the polls.

"We see this as a chilling effect on voters who would otherwise be eligible to go to vote and I think taking away forms of IDs discourages people
