Friday Forecast: Sunny and hot football weather

TUCSON –  The warm trend continues across Southern Arizona Friday with a high of 103 degrees. After a few hotter days with minimal thunderstorm activity, the pattern becomes more favorable for the return of the monsoon.
Temperatures have struggled to get into the lower 100s at most locations due some some lingering cloud cover, especially near Tucson. More of the same can be expected for Saturday.
